Planning to Submit a CIHR Project Grant and Need KM Support?

The Chronic Pain Network (CPN) is offering strategic support to help you build a strong, integrated Knowledge Mobilization (KM) section into your grant submission.
The Fall 2025 CIHR Project Grant competition is now open – and the CPN is here to help.
CPN’s Knowledge Broker, working in collaboration with CPN patient partners, will offer tailored, co-designed KM planning to ensure your application includes actionable and aligned strategies to move research evidence to the right audiences, in the right ways, at the right time.
How we can support you:
This is more than just a templated KM statement. We work with your team to:
- Understand your project goals, timelines, and capacity
- Identify priority audiences (e.g., clinicians, policymakers, patients, health administrators) through audience analysis
- Recommend evidence-informed KM strategies and communication channels appropriate to your context
- Co-develop your KM plan with meaningful patient partner involvement from the outset
- Advise on relevant theoretical frameworks or models to strengthen the conceptual foundation of your KM approach
- Align your plan with CIHR’s expectations for integrated knowledge translation and impact
- Provide a letter of support to document our collaboration
